Baseball Related:

2003 - He played in the Little League World Series (Boynton Beach, Florida). They lost to Toyko, Japan in the finals. (Coaches: Kenny Emerson, Joe Irene and his father Tony).


2010 - Played for the Cape Cod League Bourne Braves in the summer.


2012 - Drafted by the Detroit Tigers (13th round).


2014 - Traded from the Detroit Tigers to the Toronto Blue Jays for Anthony Gose.


2015 - April 6th - Major League debut with the Toronto Blue Jays.


2015 - Ended the season on the disabled list and underwent shoulder surgery in the off-season.


2016 - Started the playoffs for Toronto but after an injury he was removed from the roster. He underwent right knee surgery in the off-season.


2017 - In June he went on the disabled list and was shut down for the season so that he could receive knee surgery.


2018 - Signed a 1-year contract with the Blue Jays ($1.45 million).

Extra:

He has been plagued by injuries throughout his career.

2015 - Travis appeared on a Jays affiliate TV program about buying a suit in Toronto at a store called 'Gotstyle'. He was charged the full price for the suit. Afterwards, Jose Bautista refused to do one-on-one interviews with Sportsnet (Jays TV network) in protest that the TV program refused to pay the cost of a suit purchased by rookie Devon Travis. The suit was a two-piece, cobalt blue Ted Baker suit.
