2011 - Drafted by the Indios de Mayagüez (Liga de Béisbol Profesional Roberto Clemente's {LBPRC]) but could not play because of his MLB draft. 

 

2011 - Drafted by Cleveland (8th overall) and signed for $2.9 million.

 

2015 - June 14th - Major League debut with Cleveland.

 

2015 - Placed second in the American League Rookie of the Year Award voting (Carlos Correa won).

 

2017 - Played on the Puerto Rican national team in the World Baseball Classic (WBC). The team lost in the finals to the United States.
