2009 - July, signed internationally with the Yankees ($3 million dollars). Signed by Mark Newman. It was between him and Miguel Sano.

 

2010 - Played with the Staten Island Yankees. The coach was Josh Paul who once said Sanchez couldn’t “catch a fastball down the middle”.

 

2014 - June, Double-A Trenton he was suspended for five games for undisclosed team rule violations.

 

2015 - October 3rd - Major League debut with the Yankees.

 

2016 - Sanchez struggled in Spring Train going 2-for-22 and lost the backup job to Austin Romine.

 

2016 - He finished second in the voting for AL Rookie of the Year (behind Michael Fulmer).


2017 - Sanchez skipped the World Baseball Classic in 2017 and didn't play for Dominican Republic

2017 - He was suspended after punching Miguel Cabrera.

2017 - Sanchez lead the league with 16 passed balls.
