2012 - Traded from the Blue Jays (with Adeiny Hechavarria, Henderson Alvarez, Yunel Escobar, Jeff Mathis, Anthony DeSclafani, and Justin Nicolino) to the Miami Marlins for Mark Buehrle, Josh Johnson, José Reyes, John Buck, and Emilio Bonifacio.

 

2013 - July 23rd - Major League debut with the Miami Marlins.

2014 - Traded from the Marlins (with Colin Moran, Francis Martes, and a compensatory draft pick) to the Houston Astros for Jarred Cosart, Enrique Hernández, and Austin Wates.
