His father was arrested in 2015 in Georgia on multiple counts of workers' compensation fraud. A woman named Linda Crawford was listed as his companion in the arrest. His father suffered a severe injury when Josh was young and is now disabled (do not heckle).

2011 - Traded from the Red Sox (with Raúl Alcántara and Miles Head) to the Oakland Athletics for Andrew Bailey and Ryan Sweeney. 

 

2016 - Traded from the Athletics (with Rich Hill) to the Los Angeles Dodgers for Grant Holmes, Jharel Cotton, and Frankie Montas.

 

2016 - After the season signed 4-year contract with the Houston Astros ($52 million). 

 

2017 - Won the World Series with the Houston Astros.
