2005 - Drafted by the New York Yankees (29th round) but did not sign.

 

2006 - Drafted by the Cincinnati Reds (204th overall).

 

2008 - Traded (with Ryan Freel and Brandon Waring) to the Baltimore Orioles for Ramón Hernández.

 

2009 - September 9th - Major League debut with the Baltimore Orioles.

 

2010 - Claimed off waivers from the Orioles by the New York Mets.

 

2013 - Released by the Mets.

 

2013 - Signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers. Dodgers bench coach Tim Wallach saw Turner hitting at a Cal State Fullerton Alumni game and signed him.
