2013 - Traded by the Marlins to the Seattle Mariners for Carter Capps.


2015 - Traded from the Mariners (with Brad Miller and Danny Farquhar) to the Tampa Bay Rays for Nathan Karns, C. J. Riefenhauser, and Boog Powell.


2018 - Signed a 1-year contract with the Minnesota Twins.

While playing with Hanley Ramirez on the Marlins the two got into an argument after Morrison criticized him for being late.
