2010 - After the season he was added to the Chicago Cubs 40-man roster.

 

2010 - Traded from the Chicago Cubs (with Sam Fuld, Hak-Ju Lee, Brandon Guyer, and Chris Archer) for Matt Garza, Fernando Perez, and Zac Rosscup.

2011 - July 18th - Major League debut with the Tampa Bay Rays.

2013 - Traded from the Rays to the Texas Rangers for a player to named later.

2012 - He got a concussion after being hit with a foul tip in an exhibition game against Pittsburgh. The concussion was so bad that he could not play for a year, he could not talk with his family without becoming confused, he had constant blurred vision and nausea and he became depressed.
