2015 - During the World Series he misplayed a hit to center field by Royals Alcides Escobar. When trying to pick it up he booted it into left field and it became an inside-the-park home run.

2016 - During Spring Training he bought a 270-pound hog from a local county fair ($7,000). 

After he defected Cespedes’s management team in the Dominican Republic published 20-minute video called “The Showcase" (See video). This video was taken down after it became a joke. 
 

2017 - After fellow Cuban Yasiel Puig hit a home run and then slowly trotted around the bases, Cespedes confronted him. (See video)
